Meet Julia

I'm Julia, a Danish paper artist and the founder of BloomBoom. I create large-scale floral installations inspired by the movement and beauty of nature. Every flower is handcrafted, and every installation is designed specifically for the space it becomes part of. Whether I'm creating for a wedding, a theatre production or a brand, my goal is always the same - to create something that feels immersive, memorable and made just for that moment.

Meet the Flowers

Artwalk at Hals Art Festival – Floral Headpieces

Handcrafted floral headpieces created for my daughters, Anna and Sia, for the Artwalk at Hals Art Festival. Each piece is made from hand-dyed crepe paper and designed as a one-of-a-kind wearable sculpture.

Blomsterfestival Aalborg Storcenter

Created for Aalborg Storcenter's Bloom Festival, this installation featured eight oversized handcrafted poppies winding around the central columns, accompanied by a suspended floral installation overhead. Together, they transformed the shopping centre into an immersive floral landscape that invited visitors to pause, explore and experience the space in a new way.

Enchanted Garden

Inspired by the feeling of stepping into a storybook, this installation transforms the space into a garden where scale shifts, colours bloom and imagination takes over.

Event Styling

Custom paper flowers created for an influencer event hosted by Louise Dreisler at Svane Køkkenet Aalborg. The installation brought colour, scale and a botanical contrast to the modern showroom.

Halo reveals its character when illuminated. Handcrafted from layers of paper, it softly diffuses the light to create a warm, sculptural glow. Inspired by nature rather than any specific flower, each lamp evolves organically throughout the making process, ensuring every piece is entirely unique.

Each lamp is individually handcrafted from premium hand-dyed crepe paper. Without templates or fixed patterns, every piece evolves naturally, making each lamp completely unique.
